A lateral sun awning is one of the many subtypes that are part of the sun awning systems category. This system is equipped with two aluminium lateral arms that connect the front profile to the canopy attached to the wall. Both arms include a strong anchor point that enables seamless retraction of the awning fabric.

How can I operate a sun awning?
Sun awnings are powered by a motor and operated with remote control, a switch or with your own smartphone. You can also let your sun awnings operate automatically.

Is a sun awning waterproof?
All Verano® sun awnings come with an impregnated acrylic fabric that is resistant against water and dirt. The fabrics aren't fully waterproof, however, and do not protect you from a rain shower. If you want to sit outside during a rain shower, products like pergola awnings and veranda roofs with conservatory awnings are better alternatives.
