We all know that the condition need to be perfect for an optimal outdoor experience: it needs to be sunny (just not too bright and hot), and we hate bad weather.
When you roof your patio, you shade your terrace and you protect it from rain and wind. However, it can get extra dark under a solid patio roof. So when we crave for the light and heat of the sun, we need to move our garden lounge set.
And that’s why this family chose to integrate adjustable louvers into their existing solid roof. By doing so, this family has brought the light and heat of the sun back on their patio.
A part of the roof was broken open, after which Verano’s® louvered roof V870 – Arezzo was installed in less than a day. The aluminium constriction that carries the slats was seamlessly connected to the existing roof.
This louvered roof was tailor-made to make it fit in with the existing solid roof and match the patio design. The mechanics also made sure that the louvers faced the right direction, so that the family has more control over the amount of sunlight falling on the patio.
These homeowners can open and close the slats of their louvered roof with a remote controller. The louvers can be adjusted to a maximum angle of 145°, which means that the family has excellent control over how much sunlight falls onto the patio and at which angle the rays fall onto the patio.
By keeping the slats closed, this patio is not only shaded, but also protected from a rain shower, as the louvers are splashwaterproof.
This way, the family is able to enjoy their patio just like they did before: they have only added some more light and warmth to their outdoor experience.
